the planning application

We submitted a planning application to Worcestershire County Council in Summer 2020. To view all the planning application documents and comment on the application directly to the Council visit www.worcestershire.gov.uk/eplanning using the application reference: 20/000034/CM.

The County Council has been undertaking its own consultation on the application and further information which was submitted in January 2021, in relation to the Environmental Statement. It has come to the County Council’s attention that the document titled: “Addendum to Environmental Statement”, dated January 2021 was unintentionally omitted from the County Council’s website and did not therefore form part of the consultation.

In view of this, the County Council are re-consulting on this document which covers the following topics: Additional Information, Review of Environmental Statement Chapters 1 to 3, Planning Policy, Development Description, Needs and Alternatives, Cultural Heritage, Landscape & Visual Impact, Air Quality & Human Health, Geo Environmental, Noise, Ecology & Transportation, Climate Change, Socio Economic, Amenity, Summary & Conclusions and Review of Non-Technical Summary. The consultation on this document will be open for 35 days from 8th July to 12th August 2021.

Members of the public may obtain paper or electronic copies of the further information (‘Addendum to Environmental Statement’) free of charge from Enzygo Ltd, The Byre, Tortworth Estate, Woodend Lane, Cromhall, GL12 8AA, Tel: 01454 269237, so long as stocks last. A paper copy of the original Environmental Statement is available at a charge of £150 (including VAT) for paper copies or on CD for £10 (including VAT). A paper copy or electronic pdf version of the Non-Technical Summary of the Environmental Statement are also available free of charge from Enzygo Ltd at the above address, so long as stocks last.

Anyone who wishes to make representations about this application should write to the Council, using the application reference 20/000034/CM, either online using the link: www.worcestershire.gov.uk/eplanning or by email/post to the address below. The period for making representations about this proposal ends on 12th August 2021.

We would expect a decision on the planning application from Worcestershire County Council before the end of the year. If we are successful, the Energy & Resource Park would take around two years to build.
